Sunday Services

‘Make a joyful noise unto the Lord.’

Morning Service

This is a family oriented service with a full worship band. Prior to the pandemic the attendance averaged around 100 people each week.

Evening Service

A more intimate service intended for those who want to go deeper with the Lord. This is often held in the Church hall.

We are determined to tell the next generation about the Lord Jesus.

Connect Groups

‘And let us not neglect our meeting together, as some people do, but encourage one another,’

We know that traditional services are not sufficient to build the personal relationships every Christian needs. This is where connect groups come in!

We have 7 connect groups, most of which meet on Tuesdays. During the pandemic the groups have continued to meet remotely using Zoom.

Reaching Out

‘If one of you says to them, "Go in peace; keep warm and well fed," but does nothing about their physical needs, what good is it?’

With ministries like Christians Against Poverty, the Tipton Youth Project and the Tipton Food Bank we actively reach out to local people.

The CAP Tipton Debt centre is based at St Matthews Church and run by debt centre manager Andy Watson.

St Matthew's has run Alpha courses for many years with attendances ranging from 3 to 16 people.

In a typical year we would run two to three courses with many attendees going on to become active members.
